Two Hot Dogs at Dairy Queen
It only took the kid at the register three tries to correctly ring up two hot dogs, fries and a soda yesterday. Rock.

Wilson is a good name for a sidekick. Tim Taylor (Home Improvement), Gregory House (House) and Chuck Noland (Cast Away).

I won the HECA (High Energy - Commitment Award) yesterday after the improv show.

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I would like to take this short time between Friday's and Saturday's show to announce my cabinet:

Minister of Inland Revenue: Adam (Can we bailout the Aztek gas fund with corporate Stevie money?)
Minister for Transport, Trade, Employment and Industrial Relations: Cristi (Are we charging enough for improv nachos?)
Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform: Jason (Can we switch which M in ACJKMMST is Mookie?)
Secretary for Food and Health: Kevin (Will ACJKMMST have a drink commissioned in our honor?)
Minister of Culture and Tourism: Samantha (Should we start offering tours of the backstage area?)
Minister of Information and Communications: Tim (Could old-timey slogans be used to promote our team?)

Huzzah!

Dude... is that *candy* glued to the bottom of your bobblehead?

Also, wasn't there a cartoon character who yelled "wilson!" a lot? and if not, does mr wilson count as dennis' sidekick?

ALSO also, something changed, and there is no Jill Bernard tonight at the improv fest. ergo, they don't get my money. they still owe me for being overpriced the last time i went.

Yeah -- those are candy letterings. The story behind the HECA award is that Tim found a Justin Timberlake bobblehead which he was able to modify with great ease to look like our leader Jason.

Re: Jill performing in New Orleans
I emailed Jill to ask her about a month ago when you first mentioned it to me. She was not aware she was being listed so I wasn't sure where that ended up - sounds like she isn't performing which is unfortunate since she's a funny performer but that's OK. Improv can be quite expensive -- I'm shocked that our show out here is $15.

The fact we ever worried about raising Geva from $5 to $7 is so comical.

Well, thanks for letting me know. Sheesh.

I kid. I actually checked out her website and saw that NOLA wasn't on her list of upcoming appearances. I just tried to hold onto hope that she just hadn't added it yet (as opposed to the more likely scenario of La Nuit not updating their lineup from last year, perhaps?)

I was just feeling a bit tightwadded regarding this group, as I shelled out $20 for a part-improvised, part scripted one man show, which was good... but not $20 worth of good. Then I spent another $5 for a "party" which included "free beer" (they ran out pretty quickly), a couple home-grown DJs, and admission to the late-night "splatterhouse" show. They billed it as part rocky horror, part gallagher, which in theory would be awesome. Not only was it not awesome, but it was about 10 minutes long. I'm just glad they weren't charging the normal price. On the upside, I met some nice people. Now I just have to go back and meet them again. Their long-form group is supposed to be good...

And yeah, I looked at your bobblehead and immediately thought "Birthday cake letters!" and got all nostalgic. Are you going to eat them, or shellac them so no little visitors eat them?
