Get Better Rob!

I am recovering from another Mookieghana Lip Infection (tm). Last week after a really gruelling week where I worked to 2, had a dead car battery and didn't get home until 5 AM, I woke up the next day (for the big presentation to the Senior Management) with a swelling lip. Quickly it became a problem and I had to stay home from work on Friday and visit the doctor. Antibiotics have worked and I am all better now! For a few days, I was pretty loopy, especially because I had to start taking viocidin for the discomfort. However, I am all healed and put back together again!
Recently in my DVD player
* Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
* DVDVR "Best of the Midsouth/UWF" 10 disc Watts Set
* Superbad
* Lost: Season Two
Tonight & tomorrow I have Improv shows. Next week is a corporate gig with the requirement for rockin' Hawaiian gear. Fun fun fun.
Alissa starts graduate school next week which is exciting. I am happy she is going to be involved with a nifty political science program!
Last night we went to the "Walkers Art Center" in Minneapolis after work to watch the "Voices of the Heartland" play which Dave Polato was working backstage for. It was interesting. In some ways, I felt the avante garde moments were the most forced elements of the play because the story was actually pretty solid without the wacky scenes. It involves a group of orphans in Kansas who believe their parents have been taken up in the rapture. They soon meet a pregnant alien, a confused business woman named Dorothy (wearing requisite red shoes) and the ghost/body of Bobby Kennedy. It was very well acted and thought-provoking. Alissa & I have been discussing it plenty. Thumbs up!
I hope to hang out with Polato tomorrow. I can't wait! There is a chance that Mr Litz will be visiting me next month and in March it sounds like Huber & Jimmy will be in Joliet, IL. so perhaps I will visit them at IWA Midsouth. Who knows?!
In other health news, keep your thoughts & prayers on my good buddy Superstar Rob Schulz as he recovers from some serious hip issues & medical procedures.
